Lead 4 Year Old Teacher

Hi! My name is Sierra Hugger and I am currently working as one of the lead 4 year old teachers here at Carlsbad Country Day School. I am qualified by the state of California to be a Master Teacher in a preschool program as well as Program Director. I have been passionate about teaching young children my whole life. Before finding my family here at CCDS, I worked in another preschool as a director for close to 3 years. After working in administration, I missed the classroom and children so much, that I just had to go back!

I have a B.S. in Child Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas. I am a certified Family Life Educator and have done counseling for families and children. I am also currently both CPR and First Aide certified for Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, and Adults.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching movies, scrapbooking, hanging out with friends and family, and going to the beach. I look forward to meeting you, and working with you and your children for many years to come!
