Shinaye Dannewitz
Lead Three Year Old Teacher

Shinaye is one of our lead teachers in the preschool program and has been with Carlsbad Country Day School since we opened in 2006. This is her second rotation here at Carlsbad Country Day school and she has proven herself as an irreplaceable member of our staff. She is able to teach children literacy and language skills far beyond their years and really encourages a love of reading. She believes in the continuity of care program and has seen the positive long term relationships it fosters with the families in her class.

Shinaye currently holds her AA in Early Childhood Education and has her BA in Liberal Studies. She is currently both CPR and First Aide certified for Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers.

Since coming to work from Carlsbad Country Day School, she has had two children with her husband of 5 years, Jason. Both Jubilee and Harmonee are students of Carlsbad Country Day.
