Hi! My name is Ms. Mona and I will be one of the floating teachers here at Carlsbad Country Day School. Before coming to work here, I received a Bachelor's in Education and earned all of my Early Childhood Education credits to be a fully qualified teacher in the state of California. I decided to float between rooms, since I enjoy children of all ages. Previously, I have taught in a variety of environments, from children in private school, to children in public elementary schools. I am married and have 2 children, Devin and Mira, who also attend Carlsbad Country Day. We have been with the school since 2007.

On a more personal note, I grew up in Chicago and currently reside in Carlsbad. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with my family. Being able to work with my kids is very rewarding, but it is extra special when you get to work at a place you love and your children are comfortable. I am excited to meet your children and share my experience with them! Welcome to our school!
