Michelle Martinez
Two Year Old Teacher

Hi! My name is Michelle Martinez and I am proud to be a two year old teacher here at Carlsbad Country Day School. I enjoy working with the younger children because they are my passion and I enjoy all of their energy. I love that through the continuity of care program, I am going to get to watch your children grow and mature over the 3 years. I’ve been working with preschoolers for the past 7 years, and I’m so excited to have found Carlsbad Country Day School and call it my home.

I was born and raised in the city of Escondido. I’ve taught swimming lessons at the YMCA for children of all ages. Before working at CCDS I received a full ride to play softball at Pittsburg State University in Kansas and graduated with a BA in General Studies with an emphasis of Elementary Education.

In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, baking, hanging out with my family, and a variety of outdoor activities. I’m looking forward to meeting you and starting on this journey with your child.
