Kristina Ryan
Lead Two Year Old Teacher

Hi! My name is Kristina Ryan and I am a lead preschool teacher here at Carlsbad Country Day School. I have spent the last six years working with children and families, and really enjoy the fun and rewarding work of teaching. I received my B.A in Political Science from Humboldt State University in 2003. Following college, I worked at a domestic violence prevention agency and also at a group home for children. It was through this work that I realized that education was critical to the positive growth and development of our young people, and that teaching was my calling. With that in mind, I returned to school to obtain my early childhood education credits and I am now a fully qualified master teacher!

I started working at CCDS in September of 2010, and I am so happy to be part of a team that takes children and their education so seriously. Like the rest of the staff here at CCDS, I am CPR and First Aid certified. I really enjoy working with children of all ages however; young children have really stolen my heart!

In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family and our two dogs; Penny and Rocco.
