Extracurricular Program Coordinator

Hello! My name is Jackie Fritts and I am so happy to be a part of the Carlsbad Country Day Family. Working with young children is my passion and I look forward to sharing my energy and knowledge with your child through our extra-curricular program in our amazing activity center. Organized games and Science are the programs where I will teach your child about our fascinating world and also teach them the fundamentals of sports and games.

I was born and raised in Carlsbad where I succeeded both academically and athletically and received a scholarship to attend California Lutheran University. While earning my general education degree I enjoyed being an Intern for the United Way Non-Profit organization and discovered my passion for helping those in need, especially children. I have since gathered over 200 hours of community service and continue to volunteer at our local hospital. Sports and yoga are also my passion as I played soccer up through college and have practiced yoga for over five years. I have worked with preschoolers for over five years now and as I continue to pursue my education to help sick and underprivileged children.

I am overjoyed to be able to raise my four year old daughter in my hometown with my wonderful husband. We enjoy San Diego and all its variety, as we love to go to the beach, hike and do day trips to the mountains.

I believe in teaching the whole child; mind, body and soul. Through the fundamentals of movement, sports, teamwork and the exciting world of science I look forward to seeing your child flourish.
