Gabe Martinez
Kindergarten

Gabe is one of our Kindergarten teachers here at Carlsbad Country Day School and has been with the school since we opened in 2006. Before he came to work here at CCDS he received a BA in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on education. He is both CPR and First Aid certified. He has taught Kindergarten and Preschool for the past 8 years, and has experience teaching many age levels. Prior to teaching preschool, Gabe worked in Special Education for four years implementing I.E.P's and creating programs for communication devices. He is very creative and often builds and designs play structures for the outside play area. He also teaches our Little Rookie program here at CCDS, which exposes the children to a variety of sports and teaches them ball skills.
