Courtney Anderson
Lead Two Year Olds Teacher

Hello! My name is Courtney, and I am one of the Lead Teachers in the two-year-old program here at Carlsbad Country Day School. I am originally from Redondo Beach, but I now reside in San Clemente. I have been working with children in a professional setting for 6 years, and I am excited to call CCDS my home! Before starting at CCDS, I attended California State University, Long Beach, where I obtained my Bachelors of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Language and Literacy Development. Through CSULB, I also completed my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a Subject Matter Authorization in teaching young children English. I am also one of the Advanced Literacy Teachers here at Carlsbad Country Day School. My passion and love for learning is evident in my teaching and in my own life. I am currently planning on going back, and furthering my education in the child development field, because building the strongest foundation both socially, emotionally and cognitively for children is the most important step in development and education. I am also first aide and CPR certified.

In my spare time I enjoy working out, cooking, and taking care of my plants at home. I look forward to meeting you, and working with you and your children for many years to come!
