Hi, my name is Avis Woodward and I am a kid-at-heart!

I came to work at Carlsbad Country Day School back in 2007 and it has been my home ever since. I love teaching children and before working for CCDS, I ran a home daycare for three years. I have worked in Preschools in both California and Virginia. I recently got married to my wonderful husband, Clarence and together we have a baby son, and tween daughter who we adore!

I am state qualified to be a lead teacher in a preschool program, and I am currently working towards my BA. I look forward to getting to know your child and watch them succeed here at Carlsbad Country Day School.
