Alissa Amico
After School Care Program Coordinator

Hi! My name is Alissa Amico and I am the After School Care Program Coordinator here at Carlsbad Country Day School. I was born into a military family and have lived all over the world. I moved to San Diego 5 years ago from Virginia and have finally found a permanent home. I have been working with children for over 10 years. I have worked with children from the ages of 4 months to 12 years old and love all the ages. I have taught preschool, coached youth sports, and worked in children’s ministries at my church.

I received my B.S. degree in Communication studies from Liberty University and am currently attending Palomar Community College to obtain my degree in Early Childhood Administration. I believe that every child is entitled to a quality education and to know that they can have the best future possible. We as teachers are here to help them learn how to make that happen. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, traveling, and going to the beach. I am so excited to be a part of your child’s education and growth.
