Lead Four Year Olds Teacher

My name is Gina Warren and I have been with Carlsbad Country Day School since the summer of 2008. This will be my 9th year teaching Preschool, and my second year implementing the four year old curriculum here at Carlsbad Country Day. I am a certified teacher in early childhood development and a certified educator for the Love and Logic Institute. I have experience working with both gifted children and also children with learning disabilities in an elementary classroom. Reading is my specialty and I believe the greatest gift to give a child is to read to them every day! I am currently both CPR and First Aide certified for Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, and Adults.

Before coming to work here I lived in Scottsdale, Arizona. I currently reside in Carlsbad with my 11 year old twins, Noah and Emma, and my fiance, Mr. Gabe. I have a passion for music and dance! During my college years, I attended the American Musical and Dramatics Academy in New York City where I studied Theater, Dance, Vocals and Acting. I have been teaching all areas of dance for the past 18 years, and currently teach both the ballet and hip hop class here at Carlsbad Country Day School.

I pride myself in creating a classroom where I love to teach and children love to learn. I look forward to meeting you and your family. It will be a wonderful year!
