Lead Three Year Olds Teacher

Hi! My name is Bailey Choi and I am one of the Lead Three Year Old Teachers here at Carlsbad Country Day School. I was born and raised inTorrance, California. I moved to San Diego about 6 years ago to attend UC San Diego, where I received my B.A. in History and Education Studies. I then went on to obtain my Masters of Education and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a Subject Matter Authorization in Social Science. I recently presented my research thesis on the affect of a social curriculum intervention on an elementary school class at the UC San Diego Master of Education Colloquium in July.

Though I have worked with students of various ages, most of my teaching experience has been at the Kindergarten level. This experience has given me insight about what is expected at the early elementary level, which will allow me to better prepare your child for school after preschool.

Some of my hobbies include scrapbooking, crafting, and baking. I also enjoy being active and doing yoga. Listening to music and going to concerts is a favorite pass time of mine as well. I am excited to start this new adventure here at Carlsbad Country Day School and look forward to meeting your child and your family.
