Medical & Dental

Our Employee's health is important to us. We offer a company paid comprehensive medical and dental plan to all full-time employees including affordable coverage for family members.

Life, Accident, & Disability Insurance

We provide life, accident and disability insurance. Additional life insurance coverage is available at affordable costs.

Paid Holiday, Vacation and Sick Time

The center will be closed for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the following Friday, and Christmas Eve through New Years Day.

Full Time employees will annually earn one week of paid vacation after one year of employment and two weeks after three years of employment.

Full Time employees will earn one day of sick leave every fourth month. A maximum of 10 days of sick leave may be accumulated.

Teacher Bonus Program

Our child care practice of Continuity of Care will work only if our teachers make a long term commitment to the children for which they are the primary caregiver. To encourage that three year commitment, each full time teacher will receive a bonus of $10,000 at the end of three years of continuous employment. At the end of each three year period a teacher may make another three year commitment to earn another bonus.

Tuition Reimbursement

To encourage continuing education and professional development we offer a tuition reimbursement program.

Training Days

Each year the school will be closed for two days when the staff will participate in two days of paid on-site training. Additionally, each new employee will be assigned a mentor to assist in their transition to Carlsbad Country Day School.

401(k) Retirement

To help secure our employees' future beyond their employment years, we offer a 401(k) retirement savings plan that gives full time employees the opportunity to save for retirement on a pretax basis. Carlsbad Country Day School will match 50% of every eligible dollar saved.

Child Care Discount

To support our employees we offer a child care discount for each full time employee.
